Software Design Engineer – HMI / Visualization

With approximately 3,000 employees across 20+ locations worldwide and an export share above 85%, they are investing significantly in their Pune engineering centre to bring technical capability closer to fast-growing Asian and global markets.

You will design and develop operator-facing HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens for high-speed Non-Wovens packaging machines using C# on the Rockwell FactoryTalk Optix platform. This is a software engineering role within an industrial automation environment, with a clear growth path into PLC programming for the right candidate. Reports to the Engineering Director or Group Leader.

• Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology or Mechatronics.
• Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk View or FactoryTalk Optix.
• Proficiency in C# — the core technical requirement. Visual Studio / .NET environment preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience developing software for industrial or automation machinery.
• Working understanding of industrial automation concepts: PLC, HMI and machine control logic.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

• Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk View (Studio) and FactoryTalk Optix.
• Exposure to the Rockwell automation ecosystem: Studio 5000, motion and drives.
• Ability to read technical and electrical drawings.
• Documentation mindset: service reports, change-control records and technical manuals.
• Interest in growing into PLC programming — a genuine near-term opportunity within this role.
