Can I book Airbnb as temporary accommodation?
We do not recommend this, as Airbnb landlords usually do not issue a landlord's confirmation which is required for town hall registration in Germany.
Do I have to register again if I have already lived in the country of destination?
In many countries, a new registration may be required if your previous main residence has been officially deregistered.
Is it possible to find permanent accommodation before traveling to the destination country?
Sometimes this is possible, depending on the destination country and the owner of the property. We usually recommend renting temporary accommodation beforehand. We can help you find suitable accommodation before you arrive!
How does health insurance work in the country I am moving to?
Health insurance systems vary from country to country. We will guide you through the local requirements and help you make the right choice.
How can I open a bank account?
To open a bank account, you should first find the right bank for you. Depending on the provider, an appointment is usually required. The bank usually asks for proof of registration, your passport, visa and, in some cases, your employment contract or tax number.
